Split-level Home

This 1972 split-level home was stripped down to the studs and completely remodeled. A structural wall on the second story that separated the kitchen and living room was removed and replaced by a large beam that was recessed into the attic space, allowing the ceiling to be one continuous plane. New flooring was installed throughout the home, with hickory hardwood in the primary living spaces, sheet vinyl in bathrooms and the laundry room, and luxurious carpet in the bedrooms and secondary living room. All new cabinetry and counters were installed everywhere and a 6’x6’ tiled master shower with two shower heads was framed into the master suite. The master was expanded by the removal of another load bearing wall that was replaced with a beam and wrapped in decorative cedar. A full room was dedicated to the walk-in closet space and custom cedar and walnut sliding closet doors were made for the small existing coat closet. New interior doors and trim were installed throughout the entire home. A new front door with sidelights was installed as well.
